From the North:
From Virginia take I-81 to NC 16 South

From the South:
Take I-77 to US 421 West to NC 16 North for 15 mi.

From the West:
Take US 321 or NC 105 to Boone. .
From Boone, take US 421 South to US 221 East.

From the East:
Take I-40 to US 421 West to NC 16 North
